Acura ZDX 2013 review

 Acura ZDX 2013 review

The rakish coupe-like SUV crossover concept is powered by a 3.7-litre V6 and runs on 20-inch alloys. The power is channelled via a six-speed automatic transmission and Honda’s clever Super Handling All-Wheel Drive System.

The ZDX is 481cm long, with a 270.5cm wheelbase. It is 196.25cm wide and 154.5cm high.
Styling points of interest include rear door handles concealed by the C-pillar, an all-glass tailgate, dual chrome exhausts and 20-inch wheels.

The interior has space for five people and is decked out in leather, while a panoramic sunroof runs across the full length of the vehicle.
Safety features include a new blind spot warning system and a rear-view camera that includes wide angle and top-down views.
"The ZDX is truly a luxury performance coupe - plus," said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. “The emotional coupe styling coupled with a luxurious and dramatic interior and surprising versatility, allows the ZDX to define its own segment and attract an entirely new customer.”
The production version of the Acura ZDX will go on sale this autumn. However, as the Acura brand isn’t sold in Europe, and because of the global downturn in new car sales, it is unlikely that the ZDX will reach the UK.
